Photoluminescent Pigment For Ceramics and Glass
Description
MC series features strontium aluminate based photoluminescent pigment. This series's glow in the dark powder has high hardness and excellent oxidation resistance under high-temperature. We recommended for ceramic or glass industry which need hard fire.
MCB has a day color of light white and a a glow color of blue-green, we recommend clients to use it in temperature no higher than 1050ºC/1922℉.
MCG has a day color of light white and a a glow color of yellow-green, we recommend clients to use it in temperature no higher than 850ºC/1562℉.

Glow In The Dark Glass
Glow in thed ark glass and mosaic can be made with photoluminescent pigment and ink with cold spray or hot melt process. For cold spray, we recommend pigment with relatively smaller grain size, like size C. For hot melt, you can take a look at our MC series pigment with grain size B, which is great for using in heat.

Glow In The Dark Ceramics
Glow in the dark ceramic can be made by pressing clay, powdered quartz and feldspar, silicon dioxide, photoluminescent pigment, etc. into the embryo body and firing. The product has all the characteristics and functions of ordinary floor tiles, and also has a self-luminous function.
Below is our brief introduction on how to make glow in the dark ceramics.
1. In general, try to choose the transparent glaze and finished white brick with low firing temperature.
2. Depending on the luminance level and glow time you want to achieve, the ratio of transparent glaze and the luminous powder can be from 4:6 to 6:4.
3. On top of the mix glaze, cover a layer of transparent glaze again.
4. For yellow-green pigment, we recommend you to control the temperature below 850 degrees Celsius; for blue-green pigment, we recommend you to control the temperature below 1050 degrees Celsius.
