How To Use And Care For Silver Reflective HTV
Our reflective HTV can be die-cut, plotter-cut, or laser-cut into various designs and patterns, then heat-pressed directly onto fabric.
We also provide pattern customization service. Send us your design, and we will pre-cut the reflective HTV for you.
Heat press the reflective HTV at 135°C to 155°C for 9 to 15 seconds with 5 to 6 kg of pressure, and cold peel after the film cools.
MHR-6377 can be welded onto rain-proof fabric using a high-frequency machine.
Always run a test press first, then adjust the parameters according to your garments and machines.
Machine wash at a maximum of 60°C with standard detergent (no bleach); keep drying below 50°C and iron at medium heat without steam. Actual service life depends on the cleaning method and wear conditions.

Our Silver grade heat transfer vinyl are tested to the retroreflective performance requirements of EN ISO 20471 and ANSI/ISEA 107, and OEKO-TEX Standard 100.
The flame retardant model MHR-6578 is tested to relevant flame retardancy test including EN 469, EN 11612 and EN 14116.

Silver reflective heat transfer vinyl has a silver reflective surface that turns bright when light hits it at night.
It is built with a PET carrier film, high refractive index glass beads and a PES/TPU hot melt adhesive, so it cuts cleanly and presses onto fabric with a clean edge and easy weeding.
Bright reflective HTV has a grey surface color, with reflectivity from about 160 up to 380 cd/(lx-m²), and wash durability of up to 25 wash cycles.
Silver reflective HTV has a silver surface color, with higher reflectivity up to 500cd/(lx-m²), and wash durability of up to 75 wash cycles.
Choose Bright reflective HTV when you want a more economical option, and Silver when you need the highest brightness for hi-vis PPE or high-end garments.
For applying to waterproof or rainproof fabric, we recommend using MHR-6377. It can be welded onto rain-proof fabric using a high-frequency machine.
A sticky lining is a low-tack backing that holds the reflective heat transfer vinyl tape in place on the garment before you press, so it does not shift during loading. It speeds up a production line and helps with placement. We can add the sticky lining option to every model of reflective HTV.
